Greetings Booterra

We are happy to announce our first ever Gacha Adopt set!
The following 20 Boo designs are all up for grabs and have been designed by myself (xBelial), Lovedeluxe, and Hexification on a base provided by Hexification. Roll Claims and AB Claims will open 1 hour from now, on this post, at 4pm EST.  

Gacha Rules:
- A Random Roll Claim will cost 500 Moonstones OR 500 Stardust.
- An Autobuy (AB) Claim will cost $20 USD, paid to the designer of the boo.
- AB Claims will be claimed by Masterlist Number. Random Rolls will be claimed buy just saying you would like a roll.
- 1 Claim per 48hrs! This includes random roll claims and AB Claims.
- Random Rolls will have the option to re-roll for $5 USD if the result is not something you click with.
- One may re-roll a maximum of twice on a single claim.

Please note that claims, both random rolls and AB claims, will be processed in order via timestamps. So if you AB after a random roll, the roll will be done first to see which design it takes out of play. HOWEVER we will not be waiting on confirmation of "keep or re-roll" before moving to the next claim. Example: If person A rolls design #3 and person B then AB's design #4, then Person B would get #4 even if Person A hasn't decided on whether to reroll or not. If they choose to reroll, then only unclaimed/non-pending designs will be included in that re-roll.

Greetings Booterra

Much like on Earth, even summer must come to an end on Booterra. With Booverns now venturing out of the caves within the Glacial Peaks in order to mingle with Bunnaboos and more across the lands, Booterra will likely see an increase in young kits starting school. Perhaps older Boos are reminiscing about their school days, or maybe they are trying their hardest not to remember the past. Whatever the case may be, fall is coming to the planet and with it comes the beginning of studies, school age romances (or lack thereof), and colder weather.

With the change in seasons we have recruited some lovely new staff members to help out behind the scenes. birbutt, Lovedeluxe, and puresilverAg will be helping myself and Hexification with prompts, events, and adopts. Currently Pure has offered up some ice cream inspired Boo designs that can be found in the adoption center. We have some for Moonstones and some for Stardust. 

September is a relatively quiet month for events, but we'll be back next month with some spooky fun to enjoy. October will bring a new NPC and a new shop, new traits, new pets, and more! We hope you're just as excited for the spooky season as we are. Our october event is the perfect time to invite your friends to join in as well, as there will be some free goodie bags that new members may not want to miss out on.

The Mountain Caverns' Secret

Welcome one, welcome all! It's been a warm summer so far and even the Bunnaboos on Booterra have not been spared from the heat. In their attempts to find places to cool down, some Boos have spent more time at the Opaline Coast but others had a different idea; to explore the caverns in the mountains.

The mountain caverns have been forbidden to be entered for as long as Boos can remember. Young kits are told stories of monsters dwelling within, and other hidden dangers. The heat must have made a few Boos brave enough to enter though. Are you one of them? If so, get your hardhat and headlamps together. It's time to discover the secrets of the mountain caverns.

While the brave Boos are getting ready to explore, a few Bunnaboos swear they saw some strange creature fly out of the caverns! Maybe it's the heat causing them to see things? Or maybe something really did come out of the dark caves that riddle the mountain. Perhaps you might see the creature yourself if you watch the skies carefully. You'll never know what you might see.

Check out the prompts section for some fun event prompts this month, meet our new NPC named Chip who is bringing some new traits and items to Booterra via his new shop, and check out the rare pet options Mothball has in store for this month only!
(Don't worry, these rare pets will likely return next year at some point.)

Also check out the crafting page to make use of an event limited crafting recipe. Its automatically already unlocked, so you can use it right away once you collect the required items. Happy crafting!

Hello Booterra!

It's been a quiet past few months due to xBelial having some issues on earth but we hope to pick things back up this summer.

What to expect over the next few months?

- A much smoother CSS thanks to LoStInPrOgReS.
Its already available on the Lavender Galaxy theme and will be adapted for the other themes as well.

- More Adopts in the Adoption Center (there's a new one in there now!).
These adopts will be testing out different prices with moonstones. Please feel free to leave some feedback on whether you think prices are too high or too low in the comments below.

- A Special Event coming in August; Are you brave enough to explore dark caverns within the mountains?
This event will have event prompts, limited event items in the shops, a new currency with a new permanent shop, and will be bringing new traits to the world of Booterra. 

- During the months of June, July, and August, members are encouraged to drop feedback here in the comments (or in the discord) for events, new content, and more. We would also love to hear the community let us know what would make the site more enjoyable and ideas for things we can implement.

Hey there!

You may have noticed a new box on your profile page that says "Pets", and yes! We are adding pets to the world of Booterra! The first pet to be released will be known as a Fluffmite. You'll be able to read all about them in the Encyclopedia (found under the "Info" tab) soon. Pets will be able to be named, assigned to specific characters, and will even have some colour variations available. In preparation for these upcoming reveals, a new NPC and shop is going to be added as well.

Additionally, if you haven't already, pop over to the Incubation Station to pick up a free raffle ticket to enter to win a custom Bunnaboo! There will be 2 winners chosen!

Hello Booterra!

You may have noticed that there are a few more location options to choose from when exploring. Different locations have the potential to reward different fruits and veggies or the seeds of the fruits and veggies found in that location. Every location except for the Sacred Tombs will also have the chance to give out Hand Trowels, Hand Rakes, Watering Cans and Fertilizer; which will be able to be used with seeds to "craft" specific fruits and veggies once the crafting recipes are finalized.

You'll notice that the Scared Tombs are exempt from offering the gardening tools. Instead, it will offer the chance to find Moonstones and Stardust along with the fruit native to that location. There will eventually be more coming soon to the Sacred Tombs at a later date.

It has come to my attention that the Shooting Star Daily jackpot reward was not set up properly so people weren't being granted the award. I have sent out the related award to those who had hit the jackpot, and I have adjusted the way the jackpot is given in order to fix the issue.

The Shooting Star Daily will now give an item (a Fallen Star) if you hit the jackpot. Please "open" the item in your inventory to gain the 600 stardust and the Superstar Award. My apologies for the error with the initial set up.

Hello!

The Bunnaboo team has been working behind the scenes to get the trait items uploaded and stocked in the The Greenhouse. Some trait items are already available in the store, and more will be added as they are finished being designed. We want to give a big shout out to Charles-Toy-Box (DeviantArt) for helping us with the item art. They have designed every single one of Booterra's fruits and veggies that are available so far, and are currently working on the rest. We couldn't have gotten this far so quickly without them.

Furthermore, locations have been created for exploring to find things. Right now, only a single location is available but members will be able to find trait items or a various amount of moonstones. Exploration rewards will be updated and edited as more items are added on site. But for now, we hope the additional way of earning moonstones or getting a free trait item will suffice. Please let us know if you encounter any issues with exploring.

In the future, we will be adding the ability to also craft trait items. This is for those who don't wish to spend their moonstones on the fruits and veggies. We understand the need for a way to obtain the items without having to buy them from the shop. The recipes for this particular crafting will be locked behind a prompt, as is the recipe for crafting a myo ticket with stardust. We hope you all look forward to the addition of more items, more rewards for exploring Booterra, and more prompts.

Welcome to Booterra!
I am excited to announce the opening of Bunnaboos.com for Beta Testing! Please bear with me as I, xBelial, work to make sure everything runs smoothly as I am still learning how to code and add extra elements to the site. I hope to build a community that thrives due to a joyful, and inclusive environment.

What is a Bunnaboo?
Bunnaboos are an alien creature that live on a planet called Booterra. Due to the name of their home planet, and their similarities with earthling rabbits, human scientists gave the species the name Bunnaboos after learning of their existence. Bunnaboos mainly take the form of a bipedal creature with rabbit-like ears, alien antennae, and large paws for arms that compliment a round, sack-like body type. They have digitigrade legs with 3 hooves on each foot, resembling toes. However they have been known to shapeshift into a secondary, humanoid form. Their main form is often referred to as the "Boo form" while their  humanoid form is often called the "Terra form".

The Terra form keeps the digitigrade legs and hooves, but swap out the large paws for human arms. They also retain their ears and antennae, along with any other additional traits the Bunnaboo may have in Boo form. Terra forms come in all shapes, sizes, and colours. Bunnaboos enjoy expressing themselves and fully control their appearance when they shift into their Terra form, which can lead to some interesting skin tones. That being said, some Bunnaboos choose not to shift into a Terra form and live their whole lives in their Boo form.

Are there guides to help create a Bunnaboo?
Trait visuals and anatomy guides are still a work in progress, however a base guide for Bunnaboos has been completed and can be used below to create your own standard Bunnaboo after obtaining a MYO slot.
